c1919, grade number 642, the signed white dial, 42mm diameter, with black italic Arabic numerals, blued spade hands, subsidiary seconds register at 6 o'clock and baton minute track, signed 17 jewel crown wind mechanical movement number 22097278, case by Dennison, numbered 63082 with Birmingham hallmarks for 9ct gold, the cuvette similarly marked and with presentation engraving, gross weight 91.1g

Footnote: Although the Waltham Watch Co. made in excess of 35 million watches during the lifespan of the company between 1850 and 1957, only an estimated 3000 examples of this particular movement grade were made, making this a rare addition to any collection.
