Using our property auction calendar, you’ll find information about our upcoming property auctions taking place at our dedicated auction house based in the heart of Cambridge.

We host four dedicated auctions every year, so you can get an idea of when your property might sell and plan ahead. If you’re looking to sell sooner than our upcoming auctions, you could list your property in one of our online timed auctions.

If you’re interested in selling your property, read our comprehensive guide and speak to one of our experts about listing your property in one of our auctions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sell my property at a Cheffins auction?

If you’d like to sell your property in one of our upcoming property auctions, please provide our team with as much information as you can, such as your contact information, address, and the type of property you’re looking to sell. Once you receive an appraisal from our team, you’ll be able to pay our entry fee (between £300 - £600, including VAT), and your solicitor will compile a legal pack that will advise buyers of everything they need to know.

How do I bid in an upcoming property auction?

There are four ways to bid in our upcoming property auctions: online, via a proxy bid, over the telephone, or in person at our dedicated Cambridge auction house. You must register your preferred method of bidding with our auction team at least 48 hours before one of our auctions, either online or by emailing property.auctions@cheffins.co.uk.

How can I find out about unsold lots?

If you’re interested in the results of our previous property auctions – including unsold lots – we’ve published our sales results going back more than a decade. If you’d like to learn more about buying an unsold lot, please speak to our team, who will be happy to help.
