c1885, the cream coloured dial, 50mm diameter, marked 'centre seconds', with black Roman numerals, silver coloured spade hands and blued centre seconds, chemin de fer chapter ring and outer timing track, mechanical key wind hacking movement number 46816, with start/stop slider at 2 o'clock, case, 55mm diameter, with Chester hallmarks for Sterling silver, verso plain and polished with a vacant belted escutcheon shaped cartouche, interior stamped 46816, the cuvette similarly marked; attached to a faceted belcher link 'Albert' chain with swivel catch terminal, supporting a cornelian set fob seal, T bar, and decorated fob seal frame, overall length 36cm, gross weight with attachments 55.7g and gross weight of the watch 159.5g, presented with the winding key (2)

Condition report: Crystal: Complete. Some minor surface scratching and little nicks as to be expected. Dial: In good condition with no obvious sign of major damage. One or two very small nicks to the edge, not visible when the front cover is closed. Movement: In working order though not tested for timekeeping. Start/stop slider operational. Hand setting adjuster not operational. Case: Surface scratches, minor dents and dings as to be expected. Some wear to the engraving on the reverse. No hinges appear strained. Some minor scratching to the dustcover, but all covers open and close well. Attachments: Chain links are quite heave gauge so there is minimal wear. Spring to the swivel catch a little loose, but still functional. Seal overall in good condition.
