Condition report: Tempera on panel. There are some woodworm exit holes on the reverse although these are old and does not appear active. The paint layer is stable but has been heavily overpainted in areas. Some of the overpaint has lightened over time and no longer matches the original paint layer. There are residues of old, darkened varnish caught in the punchwork of the haloes. The gilding on the frame is cracked with losses and the glazing is dirty. The frame is a little fragile.
