Condition report:

63 x 77cm (framed)

The paintings are executed in oil on wooden panels which have been reinforced from the reverse with a cradle. The panels are in plane, there are a few horizontal splits running through the centre of the panels. The paint layer is stable and secure. Drying cracks have formed in the paint layers creating an uneven surface texture. There is extensive overpaint across the surface of the pictures which is fairly well matched to the original. The varnish is even and semi-glossy with a layer of surface dirt. Crizzled varnish.
