Lepine - A late 19th century open faced pocket watch, the signed white dial, 30mm diameter, also marked 'Invenit et Fecit' ({He} invented it and made it), with black Arabic numerals, gold coloured fretwork hands and dot minute track, bordered by a half pearl set bezel, the reverse a sunburst of dark blue guilloché enamel with gold coloured stars overlay and with matching pearl set bezel, case 35mm diameter, unmarked but testing for 18ct gold, the unsigned mechanical crown wind movement with pumpkin winder below a base metal cuvette, with a bespoke half pearl set brooch fitting attached to the winding stem, gross weight 43.2g
