Other Notes: The town of Fleurier in Switzerland has a long history of watchmaking. The Fleurier Watch Co. was created in 1915 and incorporated many local brands over the next half century, including Arcadia. The company was brought into ASUAG in 1932, with the movement manufacturing portion, Fabrique d'ébauches de Fleurier, becoming part of Ebauches SA. The company and its brands gradually disappeared with the movement manufacturing component of the business being sold to Chopard in 1996. Arcadia was re-established in 2010 and re-acquired the Fleurier Watch Co. name in 2011 and new designs and prototypes are now well underway.
