Condition report: Oil on canvas which has been lined. There is canvas patch on the reverse repairing an old damage. The damage has been repaired from the front, the fill is uneven and the retouching mismatched. The picture is in plane with good tension. Old tears and damages have been repaired. In the lower half of the painting areas of overpaint have darkened. There are smaller touches of overpaint in the red robes which have darkened. The varnish is semi-matte and even. The mitre corners of the frame are opened and there are several losses to the black paint.
