Edward Ward Foster (British, 1761-1864) Portrait of a lady, profile to the right, wearing a dress, shawl and a bonnet with ribbons and frill detail, signed under bustline "Foster. Pinx. 1833.", painted on card in Indian red and bronzed, 8.3 x 7 cm (3 x 2.5in); Attributed to Rogers (British, fl. 19th Century, possibly identified with Philip Hutchins Rogers), Portrait of Sarah Black, inscribed to the reverse with sitter's name and dated "Sept. 9th 1818", reverse painting on glass, 6.2 x 5.2 cm (2.5 x 2in) (2)

Edward W Foster - Slight discolouration around the lower-perimeter of the frame. Scuffing to the glass. Image is clear. Rogers - several cracks to the wax backing and surface, some chipping to the paint.
