early 20th century, Vienna, maker's mark 'KP' (not traced), double struck with 'import wing', 1st standard silver (935/1000), of square form with canted corners, the base of dark blue starburst guilloché enamel under panels of silver scrollwork, the piano hinged cover similarly decorated around a central panel featuring a scene on copper of a young gentleman dressed in blue with his dog presenting a gift to a seated young lady and her two dogs, engraved thumb-pieces, gilded interior with bevelled mirror and pink gauze, numbered 394, 5.5 x 5.5cm, 87g
