A Victorian silver claret jug, by Charles Edwards, London 1899, of pear shaped form, the glass engraved with trailing flowers and leaves, the base enclosed within a fully marked band of silver, the mount decorated with repoussé scrolls and symmetrical patterns around two vacant shield shaped cartouches, the shaped and hinged part marked cover with shell thumbpiece, and with ornate scroll handle 29 x 13 x 9cm (11 x 5 x 4in)
