Birmingham 1844, of rectangular form, the surface decorated with chased and embossed foliage and scrolls over a textured ground, to the centre a high relief repoussé depiction of the Walter Scott Monument, Edinburgh, verso heavily decorated with foliage and scrolls around a central circular and monogrammed cartouche, hinged cover, 9 x 6cm, 1.6ozt



Condition report:

Overall in good condition with no obvious sign of damage or repair. Hinge a little loose but does not appear strained, and the cover opens and closes well. Hallmarks a little rubbed but still easily identifiable. Some light surface scratches all over as to be expected but no perforations.
