the first of hallmarked 18ct gold representing a crested bird perching on a branch with wings spread and forked tail below, it's body set with a round cabochon cornelian, and eye with a round cut synthetic pink sapphire, the gold of the bird variously textured, the branch polished, London import hallmarks 1963, length 4.1cm; the second brooch a tortoise, the shell marked in squares with applied gold bead decoration, the feet set with cabochon turquoises, the eyes as before, yellow metal stamped both '750' and 'K18', length 2.9cm; the third depicting a stylised young bird sitting on a twig, perhaps an owlet, with textured feathers and open beak, the eye a small ruby in pierced circles, yellow metal stamped indistinctly, tests for 14ct gold, length 2.5cm; gross weight of the three 20.58g (Qty: 3)
