Description

A set of six Norwegian metalwares and enamel tea spoons by Marius Hammer, each with enamelled foliate terminals, in the original shell shaped fitted case
Other Notes: Marius Hammer (1847-1927) was widely regarded as one of the most important silversmiths in Norway. A contemporary of Fabergé, he became world famous for fine enamel work. Most of the enamelled pieces reflected the Art Nouveau styles of bright colours and foliate designs and these spoons are typical of his work.
