Condition report: The interiors of both commodes are adapted and later re-fitted with linen drawers (most probably in the 20th century). The carcasses and doors have traces of repairs. Dove-tailing repairs to the reverse of the doors. Minor losses of veneer in areas, repairs to cracks to the back and sides. One commode with restored cracks running the length of both sides. The back left side of one commode with a minor split running from the top of the carcass to the top of that back leg, making that side of the commode very slightly loose. The marble tops are veneered and have traces of old repairs. Chips and cracks in areas, especially to the edges and backs as would be expected. These commodes remain however overall, in good condition.
