A pair of Edward VII silver ashtrays, by D&J Wellby, London 1934, jubilee marked, of oval form with four indentations for resting cigarettes, the field engraved with the Crest of the Worshipful Company of Salters, the border engraved '1910 - 1935', 11.4ozt gross (2)
Provenance: First licensed in 1394, The Salters’ Company has its origins in the salt trade of medieval London. Ranked number nine in the order of precedence, it is one of the Great 12 Livery Companies of the City of London.
