A litter of four silver pigs, the first a large sow by Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1902, the back covered with purple velvet and stuffed as a pincushion, length 11cm (4 1/4 in), 4.8ozt gross, the second a sow by Adie & Lovekin, Birmingham 1905, the back stuffed with bristles, length 7cm (2 3/4in), 1.8ozt gross, the third a sow possibly by Britton, Gould & Co, Birmingham 1905, the back covered in coarse grained cloth and stuffed as a pincushion, length 5cm (2in), 0.6ozt gross, the fourth a caricature piglet, Birmingham 1930, the back covered with red velvet and stuffed as a pincushion, length 3cm (1 1/4 in) 0.5ozt gross (4)

The large sow has split from forehead to snout
