Description

A group of three inro, Edo period (19th century), comprising a four-case inro decorated in gilt, red on lacquer hiramaki-e and takamaki-e with a hen and cherry tree branches, a metal ojime and an ivory netsuke in the form of two figures, signed to the upper case; also a three-case inro with landscape and children with faded gilding, two compartments with ink for seals, two inscriptions, one inside the upper case, the second to the middle case, a stone seal ojime; and a five-case bamboo inro decorated with a landscape with pavillions, stone ojime and an ivory netsuke shaped as a man carrying a hammer and bag; respective sizes 7cm, 6cm and 8cm high
