A Chinese Yueyao moulded bowl, probably Song Dynasty, 10-12th century,

the straw coloured glaze over two phoenix birds amongst peonies, the rim without glaze
18cm diameter x 3.1cm high



Provenance:
From a London collector



Some marking knocks from the kiln, and minor markings from kiln grit. Discolouration to the rim with orange markings from the firing process.
