Description

A 19th century toby modelled as woman holding a bottle, another as a seated reverand, another as a standing man holding a jug of ale; a small toby jug modelled as a man and another small jug/mug modelled with the head of a Regency man



Condition report: Rubbing and loss of glaze and paint commensurate with age and use. Toby jug with the orange coat hasminor chipping to the rim of the hat, and loss of paint to the base. Toby jusg with black coat has cxracking to the glaze on and around the hands. Also loss of paint to the face, knees, red chair and base. Small fracture line running through the base. Female toby just has cracking to the rim and discoloured fracture marks. There is loss to the hand and also loss to paint on the base. White toby jug has repaired handle.
