probably by Samuel Goldschmidt, Vienna circa 1866, of compressed circular form, the hinged cover with an enamelled scene of a young couple in a landscape, gilded interior with removable grille, verso with an enamelled scene of a couple reading in a landscape, with translucent red enamel sides embellished with painted gold scrolls, the top with suspensory ring, diameter 2.3cm, suspended from a fine trace link chain with bolt ring fastening marked '925', length 44cm

Condition report: Small chip through to the copper base to the edge at 3 o'clock on the body just below the cover. Small surface chip to the edge at 9 o'clock on the body just below the cover. The rest in good condition.
