The Great Train Robbery: Mountain Lake, signed 'C. Wilson' (lower right) oil on canvas, unframed; a group of further paintings, 'Monastery in the Pyrenees', oil on board, signed, 40. x 79cm; 'Sunset Loch scene', oil on board, signed, 53cm x 67cm.; 'Riverside Encampment', oil on canvas, signed and inscribed by the artist on verso 'To my Darling / Daughter / Cheryl / Lots of Love / dad xxx', 75cm x 60cm, the frame also made by the artist whilst in Parkhurst prison (4) Provenance: by descent from the artist's daughter The works painted by 'Charlie' Wilson, from 1968-78, whilst serving the remainder of his 30 year sentence in the maximum security wing of HMP Parkhurst, Isle of Wight, for his part as 'treasurer' in the Great Train Robbery, Buckinghamshire, August 8th, 1963.
