Following the announcement from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport we are delighted that we will be able to resume our auctions and valuations at Clifton House in June. We have an exciting calendar of sales scheduled for the summer.
Our first sale on Thursday 11th June will be our Interiors Sale (rescheduled from March) which will be a live online only sale. This is similar to our regular sales in just about every way except that no bidders will be present in the sale room and viewing prior to the sale will be via the catalogue on our website or by pre-arranged video call. On the sale day, bids are relayed via the internet and by telephone to the auctioneer. Absentee bids can also be left. The sale will be broadcast live on our website in real time. If you are not already registered to bid online at our Fine Art sales, you can register here.
We can officially welcome clients back to Clifton House from Monday 15th June. Viewings for sales and valuations are likely to be on an appointment-only basis depending on government guidance at the time. We will keep you updated prior to each sale as and when the government guidance on social distancing is amended.
Our regular Tuesday ‘drop-in’ valuation days will be by appointment only until further notice. In light of this and if you prefer, we can conduct valuations at your home and this service is available now. If you would like to make an appointment for one of our valuers to visit you please email us or call us on 01223 271 976.
We are now accepting consignments for our forthcoming programme of sales. Details of the calendar and closing dates for each sale are available here.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Clifton House.
