Cheffins has bolstered its position as one of the leading estate agents in Newmarket with the hire of Matthew Graham as Senior Valuer.
Matthew joins Cheffins from David Burr in Clare, Suffolk, where he spent over 12 years selling prime properties throughout the region. Prior to this, Matthew worked in Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds with respected local agents. With over 15 years’ experience in selling property, Matthew brings excellent expertise to the office alongside a roster of local connections.
Based at the Cheffins office on Newmarket High Street, Matthew will be focussing on improving Cheffins’ long-term reputation as one of the leading estate agents in Newmarket town centre and the surrounding villages.

The market locally has held relatively firm in light of the economic and political turmoil which has characterised other parts of the property industry and we have found that houses are still achieving healthy prices and strong interest, provided they are priced realistically.”
Cheffins’ estate agency arm has five offices throughout the region, in Cambridge, Ely, Haverhill, Newmarket and Saffron Walden. These work in conjunction with the firm’s rural land advisory, planning, new homes, fine art, antiques and machinery auction divisions.
