Description

Vacheron & Constantin - A gold plated brass paperweight/timepiece,

unknown vintage, probably late 20th century, the unsigned bicoloured step down dial, 34mm diameter, with gold coloured hands and date window at 6 o'clock, outer polished metal bezel engraved TWELVE, THREE, SIX, NINE respectively at cardinal points, 7 jewel ESA quartz movement number 926311 calibre Y2 with recessed crown at 3 o'clock, case, 60mm, verso screw down, outer polished stepped bezel, the centre of copper colour with an engraved depiction of Tour de l’Ile, Geneva and VACHERON CONSTANTIN - GENEVE - 1755 under a crystal, 187.8g gross



Overall in good condition with no obvious sign of damage or repair.

Crystal - complete and undamaged, with some minor surface scratches.

Dial - In good condition with no sign of damage or deterioration.

Movement - Not currently in working order, but as it is a quartz movement it may well just require a new battery. The current battery has not been tested. Crown engages and disengages as it should, and the date and hands both move freely.

Case - Some minor surface scratches as to be expected, but generally in good condition.
