Footnote: Fabrique de Montres Rotary was founded in 1885 at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland by Moise Dreyfuss. By the 1920s family members, Georges and Sylvain Dreyfuss, began importing Rotary watches into Britain, which was to become the company's most lucrative market. Rotary remained in the ownership of the Dreyfuss family until 2014. Although this example is unsigned it does bear import hallmarks and with its Swiss movement and sponsor marks, it is likely to be one of Dreyfuss' early imported Rotary watches.
