the first by James Fenton & Co, Birmingham 1922, of rectangular form with sprung hinged lid and strike to the base, decorated with bright cut engraving around a symmetrical pattern of panels, lap set with bloodstone, cornelian and agate, verso plain and polished; the second by Joseph Cook & Son, Birmingham 1905, similar in design, the front with engraved scrolls around a thistle motif set with green and amber coloured hardstones, verso again plain and polished, the cover with a suspension ring 1.8ozt gross (Qty: 2)
