Description

Two pairs of early 19th century earpendants, the first with hook fittings and pierced ball fronts each suspending a filigree and beadwork drop set with a principal pear cut pink topaz, three round cut chrysoberyls and an oval cut pink or white topaz, all the gems in closed back settings, length 4.9cm; the second pair Continental and in the neo-classical style, with hinged hook fittings to put on through the back of the earlobe, with quatrefoil fronts, decorated with stars, dots and wirework, suspending textured elongated hollow drops with applied delicate stringed lyres, star, bead and wirework and suspending reeded ball terminations, length 6.8cm (2)
