circa 1838, the outer (and inner) case with casemaker's mark of Benjamin Norton and London hallmarks for Sterling silver, the cover activated by push button, verso hinged at 9 o'clock, plain and polished, with personal engraving, the open faced pocket watch with unsigned white dial, 42mm diameter, black Arabic numerals, copper coloured spade hands and chemin de fer chapter ring, front loading gilt full plate movement, signed THOS WALDER ARUNDEL 11635, pierced and engraved winged balance cock, cylinder escapement with chain fusée and 4 pinned cylindrical pillars, inner case, 50mm diameter with stirrup shaped pendant bow and convex crystal, verso plain and polished with matching personal engraving and winding aperture, 150.8g gross and presented with the winding key
