circa 1920, the signed cream coloured dial, 38mm diameter, with black Arabic numerals, blued spade hands and chemin de fer chapter ring, unnumbered 17 jewel mechanical crown wind movement with mark of Alfred Lugrin, minute repeating mechanism with steel hammers striking on a coiled gong, with slider at 6 o'clock and hand setting lever at 4 o'clock, case, 48mm diameter, engine turned all over, the front around a vacant circular cartouche, verso hinged at 9 o'clock, interior numbered 2951, stamped '18K' and with Swiss marks for 18ct gold, Chaux-de-Fonds, the cuvette similarly marked and additionally engraved RÉPÉTITION A MINUTES RUEFF FRÈRES MEDAILLE D'OR BORDEAUX 1907 17 RUBIS LA CHAUX-DE-FONDS, 64.5g gross Condition report: Overall in good condition with no obvious sign of damage or repair.Case: Some surface scratches and minor dents and dings as to be expected. Push button release for the front cover operates satisfactorily, as does the retaining catch when closed. Hinge does not appear strained.Crystal: Complete and secure with just some minor surface scratches.Dial: In good condition with no obvious damage or loss.Movement: In working order, though not tested for timekeeping. Repeater slider and hand setting levers operate satisfactorily. Hour, quarter and minute repeating  chimes fully operational.
