Description

circa 1929, the signed 2 tone white dial, also signed for the retailer, 43mm diameter, with black Arabic numerals, blued spade hands (hour hand lacking), subsidiary seconds register (hand damaged) and chemin de fer chapter ring, the signed 'Extra Prima' crown wind 17 jewel mechanical movement with onion shaped winder, number 741360, the case, 50mm diameter, by Dennison, number 460391 with Birmingham hallmarks for 9ct gold, the cuvette similarly marked, initialled verso, gross weight 85.1g

Condition report: Lacking crystal. Seconds hand is largely missing. the hour hand is missing and there is rusting to the hands. Some minor brown spotting to the dial. The case with minor surface scratching all over as to be expected. with one or two minor dents to the reverse. Movement in working order though has not been checked for timekeeping. The crown engages / disengages positively and the hands move in both directions, though with some slight resistance.
