circa 1924, spring-loaded outer cover hinged at 9 o'clock, with blue enamel Roman numerals and inner chemin de fer chapter ring around the circular aperture, signed white dial, 42mm diameter, with black Arabic numerals, gold coloured double spade hands, subsidiary seconds register at 6 o'clock and chemin de fer chapter ring, signed jewelled mechanical crown wind movement number 5959933, calibre 19SB, with onion shaped winder, case by Dennison, 50mm diameter, verso hinged at 9 o'clock, interior numbered 288100 with Birmingham hallmarks for 9ct gold, the cuvette similarly marked, 95.5g gross
