The present composition is closely based on a drawing of Elizabeth I attributed to Isaac Oliver in the Royal Collection. Since the present image is in reverse of the original design, it most likely derives from a later engraving of this subject.



Believed to be 19th century
Diagonal fold top left corner. Light toning and discolouration to the paper. Slightly loose in its frame. Framed 44 x 33cm
