circa 2008, model 290.1.60, the signed rectangular white dial, 20mm wide, with hobnail centre, black Arabic numerals, luminous blued hands, red tipped centre sweep, date window at 6 o'clock and inner baton minute track with quatre red and luminous filled markers, mechanical automatic movement calibre 960R with screw down liveried crown, case, 26mm wide with 3 gadrooned ends, flip-over on two rails with ball catch, verso with four screws, plain and polished, signed case frame with Swiss marks for 18ct gold, Geneva, together with convention mark, verso signed and engraved REVERSO, additionally laser engraved 290.1.60 1967481, to an integral brick link bracelet with signed and liveried deployant clasp, presented in the original case with outer card box, guarantee booklet, instruction booklet and bracelet adjusterFootnote: The infamous JLC Reverso model with its Art Deco styling was originally designed at the beginning of the 1930s for British Army officers in India who needed a timepiece which could withstand the rigours of their polo matches. The dial can be concealed by reversing the case, which is mounted on two rails, to reveal a back that fully protects the watch from possible mallet strokes and ball strikes.The reverse was deliberately left plain, allowing owners to personalise their own watch with monograms, initials or special messages if they wished.The design was an immediate success, and it is now the most famous and instantly recognisable of all Jaeger-LeCoultre's models.Condition report: Overall in good condition with no obvious signs of damage or repair.Crystal: No obvious sign of scratches, chips or damageCase: Some minor surfaces scratches and minor nicks as to be expected. The crown screws and unscrews satisfactorily. Stem engages and disengages as it should and the date wheel and hands move freely.Bracelet: Some minor surface scratches and minor residue as to be expected. Clasp operates satisfactorily. Box: In virtually showroom condition.Documents: Instruction booklet, undated guarantee certificate. One private owner from new.
