Dublin - A George I dish with later decoration,
mark of Thomas Walker, Dublin 1724, of circular form with gadrooned rim and later decorated border of repoussé fruit, the field decorated with a circle of scrolls, birds, foliage and fruit, around the impaled arms and motto of 'Swetenham of Cheshire' and another, 26cm in diameter, 16.5ozt

Footnote: Thomas Walker was a silversmith working in Dublin from 1714-76, a remarkably long career.
