circa 1941, the sterile circular cream coloured dial, 25mm diameter, with (originally) luminous Arabic numerals and hands, subsidiary seconds register at 6 o'clock and chemin de fer chapter ring, signed but unnumbered 15 jewel mechanical crown wind movement within a metal case and under a perspex cover, the cover marked CRUSADER GUARANTEE SEAL GUARANTEE VOID IF CAP REMOVED OR DAMAGED, case by Dennison, 28mm wide, verso hinged at 9 o'clock, engraved, interior numbered 11812 62423 with Birmingham hallmarks for 9ct gold, fixed wire lugs to an aftermarket spring-loaded expanding bracelet stamped 9CTPB BRITANNIC 844973, with detaching clip
