tapered bar with twenty three grain set old European cut diamonds, diameter graduating from 2.5 to 4mm, estimated approximate total diamond weight 2.50ct, length 8cm, width from 3.1 to 4.6mm, pin and revolver fitting, tested as platinum, signed 'CARTIER PARIS 7711', weight 11.2g, presented in a case by Cartier
Condition report:
Overall condition: Good
All diamonds are present, with very minor chipping, visible with a 10X loupe
Spring loaded rails, in working order
Heavy scratches and wear to both sides of the brooch, including noticeably misshapen rails, therefore brooch is slightly bowed (images 5,6,7 and 8)
Pin slightly misshapen and loose but opens and closes positively
Signature/number crisp and clear
Non fitted case
