circa 1975, model 92604, the central rectangular LED aperture with turned corners, 25mm wide, signed but unnumbered quartz movement, calibre 2281, with liveried crown at 3 o'clock, and setting pusher at 8 o'clock, case, 40mm wide, signed and brushed finish, verso with screw down 'O' ring over a circular plate, signed and numbered J045442 with date code N5, to a gold-plated tapering link bracelet terminating in a liveried fold over claspFootnote: The 92604 was one of the first of a range of LED watches produced by Bulova in the early to mid 1970s. Commonly referred to as 'Big Block' due to its large case milled from a single piece of steel, they were unique in using a traditional crown rather than push buttons to activate the display functions and were powered by a Hughes Electronics module.The watches in the range can be accurately dated by reading the single letter and digit code, marked on the reverse. This example is marked N5, indicating 1975.
