Description

An early 17th century oak 'cacqueteuse' joined armchair, with an arcaded and fern leaf carved panel back, indistinctly stamped 1619, a Roman I and II, with angled open arms with a triangular panel seat and pennant carved seat rail, on turned and joint stretched legs, stamped AM to the back 111 x 63 x 45cm (43 x 25 x 18in)

The seat is a cedar wood replacement, an old split to the back with butterfly repair
