by John Jackson, London 1691, with reeded base, almost straight sided and decorated with three bands of vertical corrugated lines around a central cartouche engraved with two crests (very worn and faded), the fully hallmarked stepped and flat topped hinged cover decorated to match in a sunburst design from a central rosette with raised thumbpiece, the simple hollow scrolled handle marked just with the maker's mark, faintly scratched to the underside 32#3, 32.4ozt (Dimensions: h: 17cm w: 14.50cm d: 14.50cm )
