Description

A Victorian double heart amethyst and seed pearl brooch, together with a small collection of other pins and a pendant, the first with twin heart cut amethysts in a conjoined seed pearl border (three lacking) beneath a similarly set coronet, on a short knife-edge bar with round cut amethyst terminations; also a small enamel, ruby and hairwork brooch circa 1830, with a glazed panel of plaited brown hair in a blue enamel and bright cut border, to a closed back cast foliate surround and similar cast trifoliate stem with square cut ruby termination; also a lily of the valley seed pearl pin by Murrle Bennett, stamped '9ct, MB & Co'; a modern enamelled shield for Jesus College Cambridge set on a tie pin, stamped '9ct'; and an Edwardian pendant of open scrolling form set with a round cut amethyst and seed pearls; lengths respectively 3.0, 2.4, 3.6, 4.0 and 4.5cm (5)
