A rare carved wood head of Kali, Terai District, Southern Nepal, probably 18th century,

wearing a five pointed crown with hanging tongue, in typical depiction showing a heavy encrustation, with generations of red puja tika pigment, 57cm high

one point of the crown is missing, natural wear and tear through age
