Footnote: Provenance: From the collection of Hubert Faure (1919-2020), Albany, London Founded in 1880 by Edmond Tétard (1860-1901), the firm initially specialised in silverware in the style of Louis XV. After Edmond’s death in 1901, his sons, George, Henri and Jacques, took over the business changing the name to Tétard Frères. The sons specialised in tableware, reinventing the company with modern and often geometrical designed pieces becoming, together with Christofle, an international icon in the early 20th century.
