A late 19th/early 20th century Chinese export metalwares three piece tea set, makers mark CJco, possibly the Chinese Jewellery Company, Shanghai, the teapot of circular form with repoussé decoration of birds and foliage around a circular monogrammed cartouche to a matte finished background, the hinged cover similarly decorated, the finial modelled as a bamboo branch, as are the spout and handle, with ivory insulators, raised on a simple shallow pedestal foot, the two handled covered sugar bowl and milk jug to match both with lightly gilded interiors and all stamped to the underside 'Sterling' 43.1ozt gross (3)
