A Japanese Arita porcelain barber's bowl, 18th century,

painted in underglaze blue, enamel colours and gilt with a fruiting tree within prunus and pine branch borders, sprays and sprigs beneath the rim, 28.7cm diameter

Condition report:

general overall wear and scratches. A few small areas of enamel "popped" off the body. gilding is fairly good.
