About this lot

Description

A Goldscheider pottery wall mask,

modelled as a young woman with curls and glazed in grey and cream, printed and stamped marks to reverse
21cm high

The perimeters of the reverse side with some abrasions to glazing, likely from being hung on the wall. The top of the reverse with a network of fine cracks and one small chip above the 'MADE IN AUSTRIA' stamp. A further fine crack to the reverse of the right hand edge, this is visible from the front but is largely obscured by the projecting face. On the top, there is a fine crack, which extends from the top of the reverse, over the head covering and down into the forehead, where it presents more as a hairline. Otherwise in nice condition. See additional images.
