by Henry Chawner, London 1794, of traditional half gadrooned urn shape with two dog mask and ring handles, the part marked friction fitting domed and half gadrooned cover topped with a dog's head finial, simple reeded tap, raised on a simple pedestal foot with bayonet fittings to the fully marked reeded edged stand with four reeded straps terminating in paw feet and a cut out gallery supporting the unmarked spirit burner, overall height 31cm, 51.4ozt
