A George III mahogany and brass peat bucket,

of navette form with brass swing handle
37 x 37 x 27cm



Provenance:
Crepping Hall, Suffolk



Condition report:

Liner very dented and slightly mishapen, it is split to one corner of the base
Brass work has been cleaned, some screws look to have been replaced especially around the handle
Coopered brasswork possibly re-attached due to differing colours to the wood
One wooden panel slightly loose, no signs of worm
No signs of worm, general wear consistent with age and use
