by Henry Dutton, London 1754, of almost inverted pear shaped form, the side engraved with an armorial and with applied gadrooned rim, the part marked friction fitting detachable cover with foliate finial, the swing handle with shell caps, scrolled sides and leather covered top section, short leaf capped spout, supported by the fully marked stand, decorated to match with three applied pierced flame shields and raised on three leaf capped scroll legs with shell feet, scrolled sections supporting the central spirit burner with crested detachable wick holder, 43.4ozt gross (Dimensions: h: 36cm)
