Description

A Copeland and Garrett comport and plate, the apple green ground bodies moulded and gilt with cartouches, painted with named views, Rivenhall Place and Rochester Castle; a pair of Worcester Flight Batt & Barr cabinet plates, painted with views of Northumberland and Durham, with scrolling green ground borders painted with butterflies

Fading to the gilding throughout. Some markings and scratches to the paint which has removed it in some areas. Yellow residue on the reverse of the oblong plate. Kiln grit to the base of the plates.
